Style Map - British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada II
Another day with a nice weather and it was good to have a chill out section at the Stanley Park, I bet you have hear of this beautiful and relaxing park. Stanley Park borders the downtown of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada and is almost entirely surrounded by waters of Vancouver Harbour and English Bay. Unlike other large urban parks, Stanley Park is not the creation of a landscape architect, but rather the evolution of a forest and urban space over many years. As Vancouver’s first park, with its ever-blooming gardens, pristine coastal areas and roughly 500,000 cedar, fir and hemlock trees, Stanley Park has continued to live up to its “greenspace” designation for almost 130 years. For these reasons and more, this tranquil oasis is the perfect city escape. Then we headed to the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club in the Stanley Park with my family and we had another light drinking section. After such a relaxing chill out time, we then headed to Granville Island, it is a peninsula and shopping district in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located across False Creek from Downtown Vancouver, under the south end of the Granville Street Bridge. Granville Island provides amenities such as a large public market, an extensive marina, a boutique hotel and the Emily Carr University of Art and Design (named in honour of the artist, the Granville Island Public Market features a farmers’ market, day vendors, and artists offering local Vancouver goods.
